Volunteer in the Golden Gate National Parks! Help us in our efforts to preserve and enhance our beautiful landscapes. With the essential help of volunteers like you, we are restoring sensitive natural habitat, maintaining our trail systems, protecting important historic and cultural resources, and educating and engaging our local community. National Parks belong to all of us. When you volunteer, you’re making a vital contribution to the health of both our local National Parks and our community. The Golden Gate National Parks Volunteer Program is a cooperative park-wide effort of the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, the National Park Service, and the Presidio Trust. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities available for both individuals and groups, including many that do not require training or a lengthy time commitment, so that we can be sure to match your interests, skills, and available time. As a volunteer, you can contribute to Habitat Restoration, Landscaping & Gardening, Native Plant Nurseries, Trail Maintenance, Wildlife Monitoring, Education, Visitor Centers, Historic Landmarks, and much more. Programs and projects are located park-wide, including San Francisco, The Presidio, Marin, and San Mateo County. Join us for a fun and rewarding experience in the Parks! For more information on our volunteer programs, contact us at (415) 561-3077 or volunteer@parksconservancy.org.
